“Sanctuary” Season 3

sanctuary_picture

Debuting First Week in October 2010 (Maybe)

Syfy Channel’s “Sanctuary” is one of the best sci-fi fantasy programs on the air. It’s also proof that Amanda Tapping is not just a pretty face. You may recognize her from the “Stargate” series. Amanda Tapping not only stars in Sanctuary; she is also an executive producer. And yes, she can really act. She has amazing talent.

Season 3 is currently in production. Historically, new seasons debuted in the first week of October. Until we know otherwise, The Monstrum Blog will list “Sanctuary Season 3” as October 1st, 2010. This date is subject to change.

From Wikipedia:

“The show centers on Dr. Helen Magnus, a 158-year-old English scientist, and her team of experts who run the Sanctuary, an organization that seeks out non-human intelligent creatures, known as Abnormals, and tries to help and learn from them, while also having to contain the more dangerous ones.”

Blood Oath : The President's Vampire by Christopher Farnsworth

blood_oath_farnsworth_bookcover

“Blood Oath: The President’s Vampire” by Christopher Farnsworth is a book worth trying. It went half off at Barnes & Noble (both in the store and online), making it a good buy in my opinion. The good guys are a little dull, but the bad guys in this book make it worth the read.

Blood Oath : The President's Vampire by Christopher Farnsworth

Synopsis from BN.com:

“The ultimate secret. The ultimate agent. The President's vampire. Zach Barrows is an ambitious young White House staffer whose career takes an unexpected turn when he's partnered with Nathaniel Cade, a secret agent sworn to protect the president. But Cade is no ordinary civil servant. Bound by a special blood oath, Cade has spent more than 140 years in service to the president, battling nightmares before they can break into the daylight world of the American dream. Immediately Zach and Cade receive their first joint assignment: one that uncovers a shadowy government conspiracy and a plot to attack the Unites States with a gruesome new biological weapon. Zach soon learns that the world is far stranger, and far more dangerous, than he ever imagined . . . and that his partner is the least of his problems.”
